Uttlesford District Council are seeking to commission a Housing Support Service that will work towards preventing homelessness by supporting predominantly single individuals to retain their existing accommodation and to access and sustain accommodation including privately rented accommodation across the Uttlesford district. The Council is undertaking a below-threshold, single-stage open procurement process under the light-touch regime to support this commission. It is anticipated that the contract will be in place by 1 October 2026. Full details of the requirement are set out in the specification Contract term - Uttlesford District Council proposes to enter into a contract with the successful Tenderer for an initial term of two years. The contract will include the option to extend for up to one additional 12 month period, giving a maximum potential term of three years.
