Provision of Care at Home Service and Night Service in the Oldham Council boundaries. The service provider is required to deliver care in a manner that is inclusive, empowering, and person-centred, promoting independence, choice, and control for all service users.

Contract and delivery

The provision of Commissioned Night Care Services for adults aged 18 and over living within the Borough of Oldham, including rural and hard-to-reach areas. The service is designed to support vulnerable adults to remain safely in their own homes during the night, promoting independence and reducing the risk of avoidable hospital admissions or residential care placements. Oldham Council expects the Provider to deliver high-quality care and is committed to working in partnership with key stakeholders, adopting outcome-based approaches in the delivery of this service. The Council seeks to commission services that are safe, person-centred, and of consistently high quality. Service users shall be supported to live as independently as possible, enabling them to exercise choice, maintain their preferred lifestyle, and make their own decisions. Services must be delivered in a manner that safeguards and protects the most vulnerable residents. Where this provision is increased it will be in blocks
